Twice is a charm.....
Sat 18th Feb - Sandhurst Town 1 - 8 HVFC
We put 8 goals past Sandhurst for the second time this season. Wasn’t at the game, but I do know that Lawrie managed to score 4, Danny Whatford bagged himself a brace (becoming the 17th different goal scorer for the 1st this season), Duane marked his comeback with a tap in and Ricky Farnden scored with a wonderful chip.....
Molesey game a washout.....
Tue 24th Jan
The Southern Counties Combination cup tie scheduled for this evening has been called off due to the Molesey pitch being water logged. Our next game is away to South Park on Saturday but, if you don’t fancy the journey, our reserves entertain AFC Wimbledon res, in the second leg of the league cup at the Ranch. Kick Off 3pm.
Game beats the wind.....
Sat 21st Jan - HVFC 2 - 2 Windsor
Despite a gale blowing for most of the game Villa and Windsor still managed to produce an exciting match.

Top & Tail.....
Over the next few days we play the sides at both ends of the league. On Tuesday night we play Mole Valley SCR. Nice people, looking forward to it, but if you are thinking of coming, remember that they play their home games at Cobham FC (Leg of Mutton Field, Anvil Lane, Downside Bridge Road, Cobham, KT11 1AA).

On Saturday we entertain Windsor at the Ranch. Windsor currently sit in 2nd place and are looking like strong contenders for promotion so it promises to be a good game. In addition Windsor have announced that they will be making a presentation to the club in honour of Tony Buss. A wonderful gesture by them, especially as we have no previous history with them.
Raining goals.....
Sat 14th Jan - Badshot Lea 0 - 7 HVFC
Lawrie and Levi both took their goal tally’s to 4 for the week as we added another 7 goals to the 6 scored against Cove on Tuesday. ....Report by Woodsy
Back on track?.....
Tue 10th Jan - Cove 3 - 6 HVFC
Just recently the lads have lost their way a bit. Defeat to Egham Town just after the New Year was followed by Guildford City becoming the first side to win at the Ranch in over 12 months. ....Report

A keenly contested match end with the reigning champions, Guildford City, becoming the first side, for over a year, to win at Rectory Meadows.....Report & Match highlights
Just one of them days.....
Mon 2nd Jan - Egham Town 3 - 1 HVFC
We have played a lot of games this season (38 to date) compared to most teams. It follows that our booking count is going to be higher than most teams as well and, as we began our toughest month of the season, things have caught up with us a bit.
