Starting at 11am we are hosting a 5-a-side competition on behalf of  REACT, a charity that works with terminally ill children.  24 teams, including 4 from our club, will be competing to win this inaugural competition. The snack bar will be open for breakfast, tea, coffee etc from 10:30am

In the afternoon, commencing at 1pm, we will be firing up the Bar-B-Q and would like you to pop in and meet our new club steward, Jimmy Woodard, and to watch the final rounds of the footle. Hopefully the weather will be kind, and I’m sure that there will be a bit of music somewhere for you to dance to.

Make the most of Bank Holiday Monday by partying at the Ranch the day before.

From 2pm the Bar-B-Q will be fired up and you can laze around relaxing, savouring an aperitif, whilst your kids wear themselves out on the bouncy castle, trying to beat the keeper, stuff like that. And, once they’ve worn themselves out you can start thinking about doing the same to yourself.

Starting at 7pm we will be supplying not one, not two, but three, yes count ‘em, three bands for your delectation and delight. Furthermore, if live music “Isn’t your thing man”  we are also going to have a good old fashioned D-I-S-C-O.

Entry to this event is very likely to be by ticket only. Further details will be published here, and on the club notice boards, as soon as we have some.

It’s a tried and trusted format, and yes we have done it many times in the past,

but it’s fun, you know it is, and the kids love it!

You know how it all works!

You place a bet on the horse, dog etc, etc that you think will win.

We run the film

You scream your nut off shouting your horse, dog etc etc home

Then you either

a) Shout hooray!! and pick up your winnings or

b) Moan a lot, tear up your losing tickets and berate the lucky winners
