Hanworth Villa FC

On the road to Ks

30 August 2025

It’s more league action for Villa, for the first time in recent memory Hanworth will play on Sunday lunchtime, the last Sunday match being last season play off final. This is due to the ground being used for Raynes Park Vales FA cup match on Saturday.

On Bank holiday Monday Villa ground out a 0-0 draw at Hendon, although not the most exciting of matches it was a consistent performance from Villa. Attention now turns to another away trip, this time to Kingstonian.

Kingstonian have had a mixed bag this season so far, having played 4 league fixtures out hosts sit in the middle of the table with 1 win, 1 draw and two defeats. K’s also suffered a defeat in the FA Cup to fellow South Central side Bedfont Sports.

When the clubs met last season both earned an away win, a 3-1 win for Kingstonian at Rectory Meadow in December with two later goals wrapping up the points for the visitors. Hanworth earned a win at Prince George’s Fields back in March, Sam Merson the scorer of the only goal in what was a close contest.

As we mentioned this game is taking place on Sunday 31st August with a kickoff at 1.30pm
