Hanworth Villa Football Club are pleased to confirm the signing of Southend United U23 striker Nikolay Zlatev on an initial one-month loan.
‘Nik’, arrives at the Club with an impressive goalscoring record, having found the net 40 times last season for Basildon United, where he was on a season long loan, and Southend United U19s.
His standout performances also saw him named Shrimpers Trust U19 Player of the Season.
The young forward had carried that form over from the 2024/25 campaign, having scored 26 goals in just 22 appearances for Southend’s U19 side.
Having made his progression through the academy, Zlatev signed his first professional contract with Southend in July.
