November and December proved to be outstanding months for Villa, with a packed schedule of 10 matches across the final two months of the year. The team’s hard work paid off, delivering six wins and three draws, including an impressive five clean sheets.
With the net superbly protected by Tyla Dickinson and a resolute defensive unit in front of him, Met Police, AFC Portchester, Southall, Moneyfields and Kingstonian were all unable to breach the Villa wall.
As a result of this excellent run of form, Tyla has been awarded not one but two Isthmian South Central Golden Glove awards for November and December, sponsored by Mitre.
Congratulations to Tyla on this outstanding achievement and a thoroughly deserved honour. Dickinson received his awards for both months last week and was presented with his Mitre goalkeeper’s gloves by goalkeeping coach Ben Wilkins.
