Hanworth Villa are delighted to welcome attacking midfielder Gio McGregor to the Club following his departure from Bracknell Town.
Gio brings with him a wealth of experience having played at Wealdstone, Dartford and Bishop’s Stortford. He began his career in Brentford’s youth setup, featuring for their U18 side, before continuing his development with Crystal Palace, where he played for both the U18 and U23 teams.
He joined Dulwich Hamlet towards the end of 2020 and went on to spend two seasons with the club, scoring eight goals in 54 appearances. In the summer of 2022, he stepped up to the National League with Wealdstone before moving on loan to Chelmsford City, where he played an important role in helping the Clarets reach the 2022/23 step 2 play-offs.
McGregor later had short spells with AFC Croydon, Hemel Hempstead and Hanwell Town before joining Bracknell Town in October 2025. During his time there, he made 37 appearances and scored five goals for the Robins.
