Hanworth Villa are pleased to welcome Louis Gates to the Club ahead of the new season.
Gates was a regular member of the Moneyfields side that faced Villa three times last season. and has made a rapid rise through the pyramid in recent seasons, earning plaudits wherever he has played.
His early career began in the Southern Combination League, where he joined Lingfield in the summer of 2023. After an impressive campaign, he moved on to Crawley Down Gatwick making 45 appearances.
Manager Simon Haughney said: “Louis is a real talent with a lot of pace and energy, and we really didn’t enjoy facing him last season. We’re over the moon to be able to secure him for the forthcoming campaign.”
Gates joined Moneyfields prior to the start of last season and went on to score five times in 47 appearances.
Assistant Manager Paul Thomas added: “Louis is another strong addition to the squad and is keen to prove himself at this higher level. He always impressed us at Moneyfields, and we are looking forward to working with him.”
